In the evening of October 27th,2005 our dearest friend Alexander Mitchill has passed away. Having diagnosed with Thallassemia at the age of 5, that didn't stop him from growing up normally and living normally. Having just completed his long distance study with UPM in September, he graduated with honors.







The news of his passing came as a shock to his family, friends and close ones. He was to join his group of 4x4 friends for the annual Borneo Safari 2005 but was admitted to the hospital just two days before the flag off. Having to stay back instead, his 4x4 enthusiast brothers had asked him to join them later that week only to receive the heart breaking news days later. It was Mitch's dream to participate in the Borneo Safari.







Having heard the news, his brothers and close friends cut their trip short and rushed back home to pay their last respect. The requiem mass was held on Saturday, 29th October in ST.Micheal church Penampang, in the area where Mitch grew up. Followed by the burial just few minutes away from his family home. In respect of his passion for 4WD, a 4x4 convoy escorted the carriage from his family home on to the church and to his final resting place.







We, the friends of Alexander Mitchill would like to send our deepest condolonces to his family and loved ones. He will always be dearly remembered for being a special person to each and every one of his friends.
